Retired American basketball player, Shaquille O’Neal has an estimated net worth of $250 million. Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most dominant centers in the history of pro basketball at 7’1″(2.16 m) and more than 300 pounds (147 kg). Shaquille O’Neal last played for Boston Celtics in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and is current analyst on the television program Inside the NBA. Son of an army drill sergeant, O’Neal started his NBA career in Orlando, but in 1996 moved to Los Angeles for a $120 million contract and the chance to enhance his acting and rap music careers. Along with Kobe Bryant, O’Neal won the NBA championship three consecutive years with the Lakers, from 2000-2002. After eight seasons in Los Angeles, he was traded to the Miami Heat in 2004. Together with young guard Dwyane, O’Neal led the Heat to a national championship in 2006. After a disappointing season for with the Phoenix Suns he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2009. In August of 2010, he signed with the Boston Celtics, were he retired. O’Neal earned $292 million in salary during his 19-year career and nearly as much from endorsements. In June 2011, O’Neal retired from the game. In addition to basketball, O’Neal had released his rap albums, Shaq Diesel (1993) and You Can’t Stop the Reign (1998). Appearing in films like Blue Chips, Kazaam, Steel, The Wash and more. His television debut was in his own “reality” show in 2007, Shaq’s Big Challenge. He earned his B.A. at Louisiana State University, MBA at University of Phoenix, and  Ed.D. (doctorate) at Barry University.
